Welcome to the Selworthy House Webpage. Selworthy House is named after a very famous local hill with a prominent beacon on top of it. We like to feel that we are a beacon house with fine students who lead the way. Selworthy village is reputed to serve the best cream teas in Somerset
I hope that you get involved straight away with events and competitions at the College. This year we have a plan to challenge other tutor groups once a half term to compete for a roving trophy. If you have any ideas for challenges or competitions to challenge the other Houses please speak to one of the student leaders above, or to your tutor. We are also aiming to run a House trip once a term and are looking for volunteers to help to organise these. The House Moto is Aranae Supra Mundum latin for Spiders on top of the World. Strive always to do your best, get involved and PARTICIPATE! This a great photo which we took last year and we hope to take another early in the Summer Term.
