The College Day is under review but currently there are three lessons each morning and two each afternoon.
This gives students in Years 9 to 11 five one hour lessons a day and 25 hours of taught time each week.
Both morning and afternoon registration take place in students' tutor group bases. On three days a week, morning registration is followed by either a tutorial or an assembly. Every five or six weeks, there is an extended tutorial period (see below).
Punctual attendance at registration and assembly is essential as these are key times for tutor contact, communications and reflection on a programme of ethical and spiritual matters, as a House, Year or Half College Group.
There is a Tutorial Programme of Study in Years 9 – 11 which supports students in their learning and personal development.

ATTENDANCE MATTERS!
We expect students to have high levels of attendance as we know that absence severely affects continuity of learning. Good attendance improves the likelihood of examination success and a student’s personal development in all aspects of ‘learning for life’.
Students need to be in College every day unless they are medically unfit. We urge parents to arrange students medical and dental appointments outside of the school day and we would expect family holidays to be taken outside of term time.
