·   Come to College wearing

·   Take messages and letters home

·   Be open and honest with staff and parents, and share problems to help resolve them

·   Keep staff informed of anything which may affect student learning

·   Wherever possible attend Parents’ Evenings and other College events

·   Keep parents and students informed about College events and individual progress

·   Encourage an open and sharing approach with both students and parents

Independent

Study

·   Record independent study tasks in the Student Planner

·   Complete work to the best of your ability by the deadlines set

·   Ask for help when needed

 

·   Check the Student Planner weekly

·   Provide a suitable place for work to be done

·   Set relevant and varied work

·   which encourages independent learning

·   Give regular and constructive feedback to support learning

Student Development

·   Become involved both in classroom learning and

   wider activities

·   Respect other students,

   the staff and the College
